Since 2018, Hexacres has helped more than one hundred couples bring their dream wedding to life.
As a boutique floral studio and also a small family farm named Hexacres, we are located in Central NJ. The name is derived from the size of our farmland – six acres. Yea, pretty straight forward! Our designs are inspired by nature in an organic way; incorporate flowers from our own cutting garden to flowers sourcing from worldwide. We offer complete floral design service for your wedding or special events and truly delight in the creative process while working with you!
I first encountered flower design while I was planning of my own wedding. My original goal was to save money by preparing my own wedding flower arrangements. I started browsing a lot of wedding pictures on Pinterest and DIY videos on Youtube. I also went to Trader Joes each week to shop for flowers that I would start practicing with. I quickly noticed my design talent and how much I enjoyed the whole process.
After successfully designing my own wedding flowers I felt a little sad the experience was over. Then a friend of mine asked me if I wanted to help her with her wedding flower arrangements. I immediately said yes and really appreciated her trust in me. This was also a good opportunity for me to see if I would also enjoy designing other people’s wedding flowers.
The answer was yes! I decided to go to the eminent FlowerSchool New York and further cultivated my design skills at a floral studio in New York City. Then I decided to leave my corporate job and started my own flower design studio. To this day, I feel the same excitement I felt while I designing my own flower arrangements with each new wedding project I received.
